College Counseling
Providing options
We help scholars and families navigate the college application process and maintain strong relationships with college counselors at our partner schools and college admissions officers.
Our scholars receive customized intensive college counseling, ACT/SAT prep activities and in-depth financial aid/college planning services.
A track record of success
Compared to national four-year college acceptance rate of 67%

College 101 Retreat
Before the start of their freshman year, we bring our scholars together for a two-day retreat where we explore academics and financial aid, as well as how to navigate the social landscape of college life.
Scholars reconnect with their cohort mates and their college academic counselor.

Academic and Social-Emotional Support
Our academic counselors work with each student to provide the level of support they want and need. In addition to regular phone check-ins, counselors visit campuses around the U.S. to meet with students.

College Care Packages
Twice a year, the Rainier Scholars community sends care packages to scholars around the country to show our support and encouragement. We are grateful to the many volunteers who make this possible.
