At Rainier Scholars, we believe education is a team effort. That’s why we work side-by-side with our region’s public, independent, and parochial schools, along with our college and university partners, to create pathways and unlock potential. 

Our School Partner Network

Over the last 25 years, we’ve cultivated strong relationships across the Puget Sound region. More pathway options ensure a better fit for our scholars — whether that’s a district high school with an outstanding honors track, or an independent school with specialized offerings. We are proud of our partnership with Seattle Academy (SAAS), who generously hosts a variety of programming for our scholars during the school year.

After successful completion of our 14-month Academic Enrichment phase, our scholars enter college prep pathways at schools throughout the region. This is a key step for their journey to college.

Our staff work closely with students and their families to find the most challenging school environment that best fits the needs of each student. Ultimately, about 30% of our scholars are placed in public Highly Capable/Advanced Learning programs and nearly 70% in independent, parochial and boarding schools. Our goal is to give scholars and their families all the tools, information and support they need to make the best possible choices about their child’s education.
